The documentary FOUR SEASONS LODGE has been made possible entirely through the generous support of individuals and foundations, and the generous efforts of our incredible team. Andrew and Matt and the crew feel incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to get to know the campers, and to share their story with the world. We're so close to finishing the project now - and need only an additional $30,000 to complete postproduction (we need to go back to the posthouse for one more master version with an updated ending; we need to be able to pay clearances on remaining music rights; and we need to resolve a small amount of outstanding debt) and then approximately another 40k to produce materials in classroom-size nuggets, and to push forward with a tremendous burst of outreach to bring the Lodgers and their stories out and into the world at large. We have an incredible distribution partner in First Run Features, but they're relying on all of us, that is, all of you, to get the word out locally so that the film can open more theaters, campuses and community centers, nation-wide. Towards that end, every dollar counts. Please help make the project viable. The Four Seasons Project is a federally recognized 501c3 non-profit, which allows the project to receive contributions and grants which are tax-deductible according to law. FOUR SEASONS LODGE is a sponsored project of The Hartley Film Foundation. For more information about HFF visit www.hartleyfoundation.org

We have a terrific team - Andrew Jacobs, a reporter at the New York Times; Albert Maysles, who is a living legend, Justin Schein (cinematographer for A&E, BBC, HBO, PBS) whose documentary NO IMPACT MAN has just opened; Kim Connell, award-winning editor; Todd Dayton, one of the best sound-guys in the field; Kelly Sheehan, executive producer, and many others. Without their tireless energy, committment and time, there would be no award-winning film. Without you, we won't be able to get the film out and into the world.

All contributors to the project will be acknowledged in the credits of the film as:

Special Thanks: $25+
Friends of the film: $100+
Funders: $1,000+
Major Funders: $10,000+

As we screen FOUR SEASONS LODGE at festivals, we realize that it is a critically important document. Soon the men and women who trumped Hitler's Final Solution will disappear into history. Please help us to bring this unique story, of strength, humor, friendship and love, out into the world.

If you're contemplating making a large donation we can provide you with a full breakdown of the budget, and will be happy to meet with you to discuss alternate forms of credit and recognition. Right now, we're looking for every $15 donation, and a few angels who can be major funders. While we haven't paid the director a cent yet, we're more interested in paying off vendors and crew, and doing all the tasks (cutting dvd extras, lesson planning, outreach and publicity) needed to make an impact on the world. Please become a major part of that.

Thank you,
Matt Lavine, Andrew Jacobs, Kelly Sheehan, and the Four Seasons Crew
